Sounds like you guys had time to see Him, not only in the schedule, but in the trees also. Kairos - time (not the clock kind) is an important thing.RMchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04759669746380872778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23191203.post-1148737804690813372006-05-27T08:50:00.000-05:002006-05-27T08:50:00.000-05:00Hi Guy,Camps are just one of those places away fro...Hi Guy,
Camps are just one of those places away from the hustle and bustle of life where people have time to allow God to speak to them. We had no famous speakers this year, but people just interacted with God´s Word, with each other and God spoke and his Spirit worked. To be honest I didn´t really want to go to camp, but I am glad that I did. We need to convince ourselves more often to allow space in our lives for God to get a word in. Thanks for letting me go.

Not Charles, nor the italian, but the kiwi.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23191203.post-1148640078370711912006-05-26T05:41:00.000-05:002006-05-26T05:41:00.000-05:00Guy,I love reading your posts!!!! I am really intrigued by the "prevenience" concept as well. I have been poring over it and trying to figure out how it applies practically in our context. But I really believe it is a key principle.

Also love the story of the palm trees. That spoke so clearly to me, and I needed it for the moment. We got some news today that is going to be devastating to Joshua.

I called my Mom, in tears. She reminded me that all these little trials in his life are part of God's plan, and that some day on down the road we will see how God used those things to build his character.

But today all I could see was the crisis, and felt like God had abandoned my child.

Thanks!Kiki Cherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12645328643005103103noreply@blogger.com
