Guayaquil House Church Network 2000-2007
Grandparents like to show pictures of their grandchildren. Church planters like to show photos of their "kids" too! Here are some of the wonderful people we work with in the Guayaquil house churches.
This slideshow was done on the Windows Movie Maker software that comes packaged with Windows XP. Usually I use Sony Movie Maker which is very easy to use and gives a lot more flexibility than the Windows.
I love it!!!! I'm sitting here with a big smile on my face and great joy in my heart. God is awesome! We love your "kids" too and would be back with you all in a heartbeat.
You are a man of few words, but I agree: awesome pretty much sums it up!
Gary,
No way Joel can be 26! We are so happy for him and his new bride. Its up to you now to post some photos on your blog so we can see him and you all at the wedding.
Corazon Latino,
I just returned from our despedida for Jose Chillambo. We commissioned him, layed hands on him, prayed, and everyone shared words of encouragement and advise. In Jose's own remarks he mentioned how valuable your influence had been on his life and all that he had learned from your example. It would have brought a tear to your eye to have heard it!
Wish we could have been there for the commissioning - a miracle of God's grace. Casi me hace llorar ver las fotos de toda la iglesia: mis amigos, hermanos: saludoa a todos.
Jose leaves today for Peru. It is a five-day trip on bus to get to where he is going.
Negrito, we just received your newsletter and enjoyed reading and catching up with you all. Boy, you guys sound buuuuusy! Trust you have a good trip later this month. Anna really misses Isaac and asks about him all the time saying she wished Iss'y was still here.
This scripture came to mind as I watched. God is good!
Matthew 19:29 And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will have eternal life.
So true! Thanks for the reminder. I remember when we were first appointed as missionaries back in '86 this Scripture was used greatly of the Lord to encourage us.
Awesome!! I loved it. Watching your video slideshow makes me want to be a missionary!! ;)
ReplyDelete(on a technical note, what software do you use to create slideshows like this?)

ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Thanks for sharing pictures of the family.
Regarding your comment about having a tough time comprehending that Joel is married, believe it or not he's 26. My how time has flown!
