These shots were taken last week with the visit of students from CMU in Pittsburgh, along with others from several of our house churches and local Baptist churches. There are numerous groups and churches out in areas like Babahoyo, Quevedo, Vinces, Taura, Yaguachi, Montalvo, Milagro, Naranjito, and Salitre doing what they can to relieve the suffering caused by the flooding.
We are grateful for the funds made available to us for these efforts through your giving to the IMB Disaster Relief Funds. Thanks for taking a moment to watch and pray!

No hands, no feet on earth but yours

Thanks for sharing this on your blog and on Facebook. We've had a lot of rain the past year. Last year was the wettest on record in OK. Our yard has not fully dried out, and this winter has been as wet or wetter so far than last year. For some reason, builders in OK saw fit to put heat/air ducts in the floors instead of the attic, and the ground water is seeping into our ductwork. As soggy as our yard is, and as much a nuisance as it is to vacuum the water from the ducts, we still have it better than a lot of folks. Thanks for helping me keep that in perspective. We're praying for you and those to whom you're ministering.
ReplyDeleteRick,
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you and sorry about all the water problems you have been personally having there in OK. We appreciate your prayers for the people of Ecuador going through this difficult time.
BTW, when are you going to start your own blog? You have so much to share and I for one would love to read more of your stuff.
